NFL Conference Championships @LouisRoss67

The NFC and AFC Championship games this weekend both have the look of a done deal about them but sport, more often than not, doesn’t work that way and from a personal point of view I am hoping for a couple of upsets. A NAP, Next Best (NB) and a juicy outsider (IWAC) for each game below plus a couple of specials. – – Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs: The Chiefs were almost down and out a couple of minutes into last weeks game at home to Houston . 0-24 and unable to catch a pass or even a punt. Their recovery was astonishing although ably assisted by another coaching masterclass from Bill O’Brien on the Texans sideline. However when you are led by Patrick Mahomes, any lead can be overcome. If Tennessee have any kind of chance it’s surely Derrick Henry and his talent for running all over opponents. If the Titans are to win I imagine they will want KC to start exactly like they did a week ago. If that were to happen expect TEN to run the ball for the rest of the night. It’s all very well knowing how to do it, quite another actually doing it against a team as talented as the Chiefs who as we saw last week are quite capable of scoring four times in a Quarter. – NAP:...

NFL Divisional Round @LouisRoss67

A couple of shocks last weekend and we are down to the last eight. Very difficult to see anything but the four teams coming off a bye week contesting next weeks Championship games. – – Vikings @ 49ers: Minnesota arrive in San Francisco off the back of a miracle win in the Superdome. They face a much tougher task this week against the multi talented Niners. Both these teams can ve vulnerable against the run but San Francisco pose more of a threat through the air against a generally under performing Minnesota secondary. Raheem Mostert is a missile when he gets into top gear. Close but the San Fran train keeps rolling – Dalvin Cook & Raheem Mostert Anytime TDs 4.4/1 PP Bet Builder – – Titans @ Ravens: Derrick Henry and a stout Titans Defence may well have ended an era in New England last week but the Ravens present a whole different proposition to a declining Patriots. If Mark Ingram fails to start, that will certainly help the Titans chances. I’m on Tennessee at 80/1 but I think that dream ends here against what was undoubtably the best team in the NFL during the regular season led by a worthy MVP – Justice Hill Anytime TD 4/1 – – Texans @ Chiefs: Houston were taken apart in the first half by a vibrant Bills last weekend before...

NFL Wild Card Weekend @LouisRoss67

The first weekend of the post season with two games tonight and a couple tomorrow. A few words about each game and a best value TD pick and player lines acca. Then very much for small stakes a 2TD shout at big odds. Not expecting any hugely high scoring games from this slate so please keep stakes pretty low – – Bills @ Texans: The game could hang on the fitness of Will Fuller. Houston are a much more effective offence with his ability to stretch the field. Buffalo struggle to put points on the board. It won’t take much to win this and I’ll have faith that Fuller starts and Watson gets his playoff win. – Houston -2.5 5/6 Cole Beasley Anytime TD – – Titans @ Patriots: Hardest game of the weekend to call. I have always gone with ‘Never bet against the Patriots’ and it’s served me well but the Titans are the hottest team in football and the Pats have only been able to score without th trick plays. Something tells me Bellichick finds a Full Back nobody has heard of and nicks the game but I’ll take the Titans with points to keep it close at least. – Tennessee Titans +5 10/11 Corey Davis Anytime TD 4/1 – – Vikings @Saints: Has to be New Orleans at home. I think the Saints win easily...
