Evening all… Not sure what I’ve got myself into here.. Hoping I don’t end all Elliots good work earning you all that money.. I have taken over for the next few weeks on the nfl bets from the recently retired Louis he’s now busy watching the greatest channel in the world arsenal TV (sorry lou)
My main nfl bet on a Sunday tends to be a player props bet or 2 dependant on how many lines take my fancy.. I then like to do a trixie or yankee with players to score 2 or more touchdowns each and also a bet that has multi td scorers in each game these 2 tend to be smaller stakes… So here goes
One thing jumped out at me when first looking this week there are some dog awful run defenses playing against teams that love to run the ball and using their backs in the passing game.. So have focused on a handful of games or so for my bets.
COLTS V TEXANS
The inform Taylor and Hines should have a field day here against a texans D that rank 31st out of 32 against the run allowing over 150 yards per game on the ground.. But this is also a favourable matchup for the running backs in the passing game the texans giving up 87 targets to backs and 67 completions at an average of 6.5 yards per reception… Few lines i was intrested in for this but I have gone for Hines in the passing game.. He’s already had 51 receptions which leads all colts and line has landed 10 times in 13 games
LIONS V TITANS
Just stop Henry it’s all you have to do easier said than done but somehow if you manage it they have a beast at wide receiver in AJ Brown… With the lions ranking 27th against the pass and their secondary really banged up I’m taking Brown to hit his recieving line which has landed 7 out of 10 times..
BEARS V VIKINGS
Probably the best back in the league on show for me in Dalvin Cook but the bears rank midtable against the run and Mack showed he was back to form last week.. Running backs been targeted 75 times against the Bears completing 53.. Which is why the Cook line is appealing to me
COWBOYS V 49ERS
The rank worst run defense in the league up against my niners just give raheem the ball please.. Although he is banged up a little seems he’s good to go this week in a really favourable match up against a side allowing an average of over 160 rush yards per game.. Mostart rush line for me here..
SAINTS V CHIEFS
How do you stop the chiefs?? A good start would be not to let mahomes to have the ball so run that clock and with Thomas out and brees back at quarterback I can see kamara getting back to his usual self in the run game now will won’t be thieving all his touches against a run D that ranks 26th giving up average of 128 yards on the ground.. Kamara rush line for me..
