From TPP: Once again absolutely delighted to have @Tippedontheline back for the latest big meet this week! We are off to Newmarket for some great racing action! Those who werent able to be involved last time the pick from Ascot are still below this post and by all means check them out, one 25/1 winner alone would have covered the meet but there were plenty plenty more! He loves a straight win but as always bet how you feel comfortable and within your means to keep it fun 🙂

Day 3:

2:05 :-

The first race of the last day of the meeting, and I fancy the progressive Stepping Ahead, York is a stiff track & today will more to her liking. Muharrib ran a promising race on return & the Godolphin stable are firing from all cylinders recently.
Win bet; Muharrib 7/1
Eachway; Stepping Ahead 9/1
2:40 :-
Somewhat didn’t run a bad race at Royal Ascot, he is highly regarded by  Johnston. We’ll see how the Chesham form holds up. There’s alot of unexposed unbeaten horses in this field, and out of them I like Noble Metal, bred for further, the uphill climb will aid him in the last 2f, I can almost guarantee he’ll be staying on.
Win bet; Somewhat 9/2
Eachway; Noble Metal 12/1
3:15 :-
Redvers was so unlucky latest, couldn’t get the split and had to sit and suffer to finish 7th. Loves fast ground. As we know I hate these big sprint fields, so I’m going to take a punt on Excellent Guest who finished an unlucky 2nd in this race 2 years ago.
Eachway; Redvers 14/1
Eachway; Excellent Guest 18/1
3:50 :-
Very tricky race in prospect, not sure Shea Shea will be the force he is a 5f, running at 6f today. Given that it’s wide open, and Gale Force Ten brings classic & group form into the equation. One with a squeak is Hamza, brilliant record on GF & could nick it from the front.
Win bet; Gale Force Ten 13/2
Eachway; Hamza 16/1
4:25 :-
The most pointless race, Sacha park should win under Hughes.
Win bet; Sacha Park 2/1
5:00 :-
Al Baz was in a different class upped in trip previously, it could be him & Dutch Courage fighting it out.
Win bet; Al Baz 5/1
5:35 :-
Pethers Moon was stuck behind a wall of horses at Ascot, just couldn’t get through, traveling like a dream. Should blitz this field on evidence, Cat O’mountain should be there upped in trip.
Win bet; Pethers Moon 7/4
Eachway; Cat O’mountain 10/1

Day2:

1:40 :-

Win bet; Tantshi 8/1
Eachway; Lizzy Tudor 20/1
2:10 :-
Win bet; Bye Bye Birdie 9/2
Eachway; Fire Blaze 16/1
2:40 :-
Win bet; Elusive Kate 5/2
3:15 :-
Win bet; Equity Risk 10/1
Eachway; Barracuda Boy 14/1
3:50 :-
Win bet; Voice Of The Leader 8/1
Eachway; Rock n Roll Star 25/1
4:25 :-
Win bet; Urban Dance 9/2
5:35 :-
Win bet; Bassara 4/1

@Tippedontheline Day 1 bets

1:40 :-
Dare To Achieve couldn’t of won his maiden more impressive. Before his win, he finished behind the Royal Ascot winner, Remote. That form reads best in the first race of the meeting, although he is short enough.
Win bet; Dare To Achieve 5/2
2:10 :-
Alot of unexposed sorts in this race, and it’s a real ballache to figure out. Saying that, Figure Of Speech won on debut really nicely. And the Godolphin stable couldn’t be in better form. As an eachway shot I like Canyari, who beat Legend Rising, a decent yardstick.
Win bet; Figure Of Speech 9/2
Eachway bet; Canyari 7/1
2:40 :-
Universal is one game horse, and if he gets an easy lead, he will be very difficult to reel in. One in with a chance is Buicks mount, he boasts a 100% record when riding for the owners at Newmarket.
Win bet; Universal 4/1
Win bet; Granduer 9/1
3:15 :-
Soviet Rock ran a very creditable race to say he was upped in trip and didn’t receive the correct ride, back down to 10f he will pose a real threat.
I believe Space Ship could be in the finish too.
Win bet; Soviet Rock 12/1
Win bet; Space Ship 9/1
3:50 :-
Not much form to read here & it’s best to side with Grevillea who ran on well on debut, eachway prospect for a debutant is Lucky Surprise.
Win bet; Grevillea – 11/2
Eachway bet; Lucky Surprise – 50/1
4:25 :-
The most likely winner is the Hannon colt, but Ashdan finished 8l behind Dawn Approach, could be the one to side with.
Win bet; Ashdan 3/1
5:00 :-
Fratellino has bags of speed and has conditions to suit, went close off this mark in a good race previously. Another one to consider is our recent winner Doctor Parkes who won nicely for us at a nice price.
Win bet; Fratellino 13/2
Win bet; Doctor Parkes 5/1

Royal Ascot Day 5

Final day Royal Ascot:

Firstly, I would like to thank everyone for the faith and praises. We’ve had one hell of a profitable meeting!

2:30 – I’m going to start off with Somewhat, he couldn’t of won his maiden more impressively, by 7l.  The stable has won this many of times & could easily add to that. Hopefully this hasn’t come to quick for him. I am quite confident of Lone Warrior going close, Quelley & Evans strike rate when pairing is second to none. I recently landed a nice 33/1 (intermath) with this pairing.
Win bet: Somewhat 9/2
Eachway bet: Lone Warrior 50/1

3:05 – I love Mount Athos, but I can’t get away from Ektihaams credentials here. He cosily beat Thomas Chippendale here and is still improving.
Win bet: Ektihaam 5/2

3:45 – There’s loads of confidence behind Dandy Boy today, his course record reads 2/3. I expect him to go off a lot shorter. As an eachway prospective I like how Hawkeyethenoo knuckled down to make late headway previously and his race should fall right in his hands.
Win bet: Dandy Boy 12/1
Eachway bet: Hawkeyethenoo 12/1

4:25 – Hugo Palmer recently mentioned that Khubala comes into this race with a really live chance! He has been in really good form and could prove hard to pass. I couldn’t of been more impressed by Duke Of Frenzies win at Epsom,  weaving in and out of traffic and still managed to bolt in. Ryan Moore takes the ride again.
Win bet: Duke Of Frenzies 8/1
Eachway bet: Khubala 18/1

5:00 – Rye House would be my win selection, back up to 12f and the forecast rain would give him better claims, Ryan Moore could have two in quick succession. Hammerfest finished 2nd in this race last year off a 4lb lower mark, having won his previous start he has a live chance.
Win bet: Rye House 6/1
Eachway bet: Hammerfest 14/1

5:35 – Courtesy Call could give Henderson his 2nd winner of the festival, he stays 21f well & has flat form to match. The obvious selection, providing he stays is Ciberta King, doesn’t mind any ground and it could be left to our 2 selections fighting it out.
Win bet: Ciberta King 15/2
Eachway bet: Courtesy Call 9/1

Royal Ascot Day 4

Day 4: (very tough day betting wise)

2:30 – Lady Cecil comes into this race with a brilliant chance with Joyeuse, she won her maiden most impressively. Being a half-sister to Frankel she has the potential to become a world class filly. As an eahway shot I like Kiyoshi for the Qatar racing syndicate, she has very strong form lines.
Win Bet: Joyeuse 4/1
Eachway: Kiyoshi 11/1

3:05 – I am hoping for one of those majestic rides from Hanagan today, Mustashaded did it nicely on both runs and this step up in trip could seek further improvement.
Win bet: Mustashaded 8/1

3:45 – Big Break had to run around the whole field at the Curragh against Just The Judge was just touched off, providing he gets a clear run and breaks well, he should be right up there. Wether Viztoria goes well on good/firm ground remains to be seen but it’s worth chancing with her ability.
Win bet: Big Break 6/1
Eachway bet: Viztoria 11/1

4:25 – It could be worth sticking with Fattsota, who is 2-2 at the track, albeit in a class 2, he has recorded good RPR in the process. As an eachway chance I would go for Labarinto, Stoute doesn’t keep many 5yo gelding in his stable so he must have some belief in him.
Win bet: Fattsota 12/1
Eachway: Labarinto 12/1

5:00 – Nichols Canyon ruined his chances when many lengths infront he decided to hang and swerved to the left. This colt has a staying pedigree & can only improve given he doesn’t hit the front too soon. Also, another one that could improve upped in trip is the Irish raider Rolston Road.
Win bet: Nichols Canyon 10/1
Eachway bet: Rolston Road 25/1

5:35 – As everyone knows, races of this sort are lotteries. But C&D form provides some good eachway money in these races, the 2 horses that appeal to me are Loving Spirit, who got going to late previously. And Nassau Storm, who has a very impressive C&D form.
Eachway bet: Loving Spirit 14/1
Eachway bet: Nassau Storm 20/1

Ascot day 3:

2:30 – Yesterday Wesley Ward mentioned that his best chance of the meeting was No Ney Never, his runner yesterday gave a gritty run from the front to finish 2nd to our selection. If there’s no ease in the ground I believe that he’ll take the beating.
Win bet: No Ney Never 11/2

3:05 – Alive Alive Oh sprinted clear of a very good field in Ireland on his return & previous run. he can continue the Irish domination. As an eachway shot I would side towards Cocktail Queen, her form isn’t anything to shout about but her breeding suggests this step up in trip will suit.
Win bet: Alive Alive Oh 5/2
Eachway bet. Cocktail Queen 80/1

3:40 – I love the Gold Cup, and this coincides with the selection. Simenon absolutely loves Ascot (2/3 at Ascot) and caught the eye at Chester from a bad draw. Simon Holt recently replied to me and said that Simenon was his bet of the week & I agree. Last Train is unexposed as a stayer and could spring a surprise.
Win bet: Simenon 7/1
Eachway bet: Last Train 14/1

4:25 – I’ve had Wentworth in my tracker ever since he was so unlucky on his return, couldn’t get a run at all. Maputo could be a bet to nothing, Mark Johnston the distance king aimed him at this race & should be there.
Win bet: Wentworth 9/2
Eachway: Maputo 12/1

5:00 – I believe that there is alot more to come from Remote after making a mockery of a listed winner, winning by 6l. Upped in trip and will suit.
Win bet: Remote 3/1

5:35 – Estihaal absolutely bolted up on his previous start, and the second won after to frank the form. As a eachway prospective I’d go for Elidor who was very unlucky in running last time out.
Win bet: Estihaal 8/1
Eachway: Elidor 25/1

Day 4: (very tough day betting wise)

2:30 – Lady Cecil comes into this race with a brilliant chance with Joyeuse, she won her maiden most impressively. Being a half-sister to Frankel she has the potential to become a world class filly. As an eahway shot I like Kiyoshi for the Qatar racing syndicate, she has very strong form lines.

Eachway: Kiyoshi 11/1

Royal Ascot Day 3

Ascot day 3:

Royal Ascot Day 2

Ascot Day 2;

2:30 – Garswood impressed me on his return, showed a blistering turn of foot and settled it in a matter of strides. Even though he failed to show that in the Guineas, he offers the best form in the field. My eachway chance would be Music Master, finished 1 3/4 lengths behind Dundonnell who wasn’t disgraced yesterday behind Dawn Approach & Toronado.

Win bet: Garswood 5/1
Eachway: Music Master 16/1
3:05 – As everyone knows, the Irish have took Royal Ascot by storm, and they could have another winner in quick succession with the high class filly Duntle. 1/1 at the track, losing only 2 races in her career so far. It would take a high class horse to beat her.
Win bet: Duntle 11/4
3:45 – Another Irish raider, Camelot. Camelot owes us nothing, I believe he could of been rusty on his comeback, the same could be said about Al Kazeem who beat him that day. But, O’Brien has full confidence in his colt & so do I. As an eachway prospective, I like Saint Baloudino for the Goldolpin team. Yet to encounter quicker ground than GS, I think he could seek more improvement on the quicker surface.
Win bet: Camelot 11/4
Eachway: Saint Baloudino 12/1
4:20 – I tipped up Directorship at 20/1 last time out, and he showed a brilliant turn of foot to win in good style. He is in the form of his life & at the odds he is the value of the race, easy. Sweet Lightening, finished 1l behind Duntle who runs earlier in the card, drops in grade and I’m hopeful of a good run despite being at the highest mark he’s been. Hopefully the claimer makes a significant difference.
Eachway: Directorship 33/1
Eachway: Sweet Lightening 25/1
5:00 – I’ve watched Rizeena progress through each run and he has impressed me with his gritty nature, I don’t think the favourite is unbeatable & Rizeena has the ability to power past him. Now, the rags to riches selection. Bought for 400GBP, he blitzed a ordinary field at Lingfield and the trainer mentioned that he expected her to win nicely, even at 50/1! Really hoping for a nice run from this filly.
Win bet: Rizeena 13/2
Eachway: Baytown Kestrel 33/1
5:35 – Finally, for the last race, it’s NAP time. This comes in the form of Bracing Breeze, upped in trip to 8f. Breeding suggests that she will excel over this sort of distance. And for the eachway chance, Zurhiga overcame a carpark draw in the French Guineas to finish 4th, mighty impressive considering.
Win bet: Bracing Breeze 9/1
Eachway: Zurhiga 12/1

Royal Ascot Day 1

2:30 :- The first race on the card revolves around IF Animal Kingdom (record 1/4 on turf) can act on this good ground. His trainer recently mentioned that he would be confident if the surface was declared Firm. Now, the horse I believe has been underestimated is Trade Storm at 16/1 (Stan James). He took Meydan by storm, winning a group 2 out there in gritty style. His final start in Meydan resulted in a 4th place finish, boxed in and flew home after finding the gap.
Prediction: Trade Storm -16/1 EW
3:05 :- I’ve always had a soft spot for Reckless Abandon, this talented horse apparently wasn’t 100% for the Temple Stakes and should come on from that run. Shea Shea is the obvious danger, with 7 of the 10 runnings going overseas.
Predicton: Reckless Abandon 11/2.
3:45 :- Obviously, the talk of this race is Dawn Approach. But I believe Toronado could reverse the placings with Dawn Approach. R.Hughes regards Toronado highly & believes this track is more to his liking. I fear this race has come to quick for Dawn Approach, but there’s no doubting his ability.
Prediction: Toronado 4/1.
4:20 :- I’ve been waiting and waiting for Riverboat Springs to run on a track to suit his running style, previously at Epsom he simply did not handle the turn. On the straight he absolutely scooted home to finish 2nd. Really high hopes for this horse, my NAP of the day. Parbold could be the one to watch.
Prediction: Riverboat Springs 10/1.
5:00 : – A race that has many potential winners, for this race I shall select 2. First of, Midnight Oil. He is held in high regard over hurdles & previously trained for Luca Cumani on the flat. He stays 20f well & handles any ground. Secondly, Big Easy. 3/5 on the flat (albeit overseas) 3/3 on a good ground on flat. Big Easy will stay all day, hopefully he gets the breaks and settles well.
Prediction :-
Midnight Oil 11/1 EW
Big Easy 12/1 EW
5:35 :- The last race on the card. And a very competitive race with so many unexposed sorts. Hughes jumps off Stevenion Star for Anticipated, who showed a blistering turn of foot latest. Little mention for Hiakbidiac (25/1), who finished 4 lengths behind the smart Thunder Strike (runs earlier in the card, should give us a gauge on how good the form is).

Prediction: Anticipated 11/2
