The second Major of the season takes place this week having been moved from its traditional spot towards the end of summer. Bethpage Black is an incredibly hard course, traditionally ranking hardest on Tour on the rare occasions the PGA visits.
The 2009 US Open the last Major at the course was won by Lucas Glover. Long straight driving will pay dividends here. Let’s hope for something as close and entertaining as the Masters last month. We certainly won’t be seeing that kind of scoring but personally I love golf where Par is a decent score. Some outright picks followed tomorrow by some specials.
Augusta was kind to us with a couple of winners and decent price places. I love Koepka this week.

My shortlist was pretty long this week. Bethpage is rarely used and so weighing the different data and metrics was quite a task. Koepka’s performance in Majors over the last 18 months is quite astonishing. He nearly won at Augusta at a huge price. No matter what, I expect him to be in contention on Sunday night. Good luck all.
