I had a look through alot of the other races at York this coming week (Wednesday and Thursday due to entries) not looked at any of the handicaps in great detail as i have no idea who’s going to run will look at these once the decs are out I did the Juddmonte during the week which for ease I have added into this post.

The Great Voltiguer Stakes on Wednesday is a very good race, quite alot depends on how the O’Brien’s play this race I recon they will send at least 4/5 of the 9 entered think that Dee Ex Bee is gone at the game Wells Farhh Go I think will want further and will show up really well in the Ledger. Young Rascal is versatile in regards to the ground and think will be able to uphold he Derby form which a few of these were in behind including 3 of the O’Brien runners when watching back I don’t think Young Rascal liked the track at Epsom. Cross counter could still be improving and has looked good last twice but for me the races he has won are not up to the same level as Young Rascal. The other horse worth  talking about is Latrobe the Irish  Derby winner I don’t know if he turns up, if he does think he will  be the biggest danger the worry about him is the ground think he wants fast ground which I doubt we will get. I think that Young Rascal is worth a bet at 7/1

Just had a quick look at the Juddmonte at York currently 24 in the feild but it won’t be anywhere near that on the day I want to take on Saxon Warrior and Roaring Lion as I’m not sure they stay but might both turn up, happy to take on both the Stoute runners if they turn up as I think Poets word wants good to firm and Crystal ocean wants further, Eminent is gone at the game, would be surprised if any of the horses that ran against Alpha yesterday turn up. Benbatal is better in Meydan rubbish over here. Depending on the ground could see Crasksman turn up at 8/1, enable won’t turn up. Can’t fancy Thunder Snow in England on softish ground. Without Parole would be interesting getting weight but again think he will needs better ground.

The O’Brien’s have 9 in at the moment, I think Saxon will show up with Ryan on board Latrobe probs won’t the others is guess work but I recon two/three more will show up and at least one will front run the yard form is a worry.

After all my ramblings at the moment I’d keep an eye on the forecast and bet Crasksman if there is rain forecast if there is alot of sun forecast I would have a bet on Without Parole.

The Lowther stakes Fairyland is a horse I’m really high on and at 4/1 I think is worth a bet, the obvious danger is Main Edition but I would be worried about the quick turnaround for her. There are alot of others who are improving but I think Fairyland is on her way to a classic win next year and will turn around the Ascot form with Main Edition.

Second race on Thursday is the Goffs UK Premier Yearling stakes sees Gingersdunthelot a horse who I have a share in so will be cheering home Ginger but I can’t see us winning on official ratings we are 39lb wrong with Kodyanna and 35lb wrong with Cosmic law.

The next race I’m going to look at is the Yorkshire Oaks the only place to start is with Sea of class who was massively impressive winning the Irish Oaks LTO and she wouldn’t mind a little cut under foot. Forever Together was only just beaten LTO by Sea of class but I think was held so I couldn’t have her on my mind. Eziyra is an improving Filly while I do like The King and Yucatan who she beat LTO she will have to step up a fair amount from that run to this, the booking of Buick is interesting but I don’t think she’s good enough to give away the weight for age to the 3YO’s. The other horse worth talking about is Laurens who is probably the hardest horse in training and will go out in front think she could win but for me I see her fighting off all the others then James Doyle playing Sea of Class very late and winning I wouldn’t back her at the current price as will probs get the same price on the day but I do think she will win

Sees Lah Ti Dar run not priced up yet but recon she will be short and she will win

Good luck
